Discount Cedar has sold 1,000s of cedar fence posts all over the country to hundreds of customers. Since our establishment in 2008, we have had zero complaints about our product's price and quality. This is something we are extremely proud of. Our headquarters is in Humble, TX, and most of our customers are located in Texas. As we have expanded, we have shipped full truckloads of fence posts to Kansas, South Dakota, and Louisiana. We also have supplied posts to many farm and ranch supply stores, lumber companies, and even oilfield supply companies. In May of 2013, we were recognized in the Houston Chronicle as business of the week.

We are always striving to exceed our customers' expectations by providing the best quality product that cannot be found anywhere else. Unlike Texas cedar, our Ozark Mountain cedar does not rot and is very dense. The heartwood, or red center of the post comprises 80% of our fence posts, making the wood very strong. The white outer layer of the post, sapwood, is more common in Texas cedar species and will rot in a few years. Also, Missouri cedar grows tall and straight, making our fence posts almost as uniform as milled lumber. Texas cedar is usually crooked, which makes fencing in the land more difficult. The most important aspect of our cedar is that is can last up to 50 years in the ground! This feature could benefit the landowner from ever having to replace his fence again.
